College Football: Week Two Quick Picks
10 Picks Down and Dirty
If you’re looking for some bulk, quick picks, here they are. These are my 2018 Week Two college football picks against the spread or focused on the over/under. These have been done very quickly. There’s no long evaluation process, big-time number crunching, or one-on-one match ups generated. I’ll be posting those types of picks too. The one’s that take a lot more time, effort, and calculation. But these “Quick Picks” are very much down and dirty, based on some key information and stats, and generated by the gut. Here are my ten 2018 Week Two college football picks for the games on September 8.
2018 Week Two College Football Quick Picks
We start with a noon game and work our way through the day and into the night. Here’s how I see these games playing out.
#18 Mississippi State @ Kansas State
We like the visiting Bulldogs at -7.0. SEC vs Big 12. (Game time: 12:00 pm)
William & Mary @ #12 Virginia Tech
We don’t expect the Hokies to be upset, but we also don’t think they’ll cover. Take W&M at +42.0. (Game time: 2:00 pm)
Portland State @ Oregon
The Ducks are -48.0. They will cover. Bet Oregon. (Game time: 2:00 pm)
Ball State @ #8 Notre Dame
We like the Irish at home at -34.5. (Game time: 3:30 pm)
Rutgers @ #4 Ohio State
Take the Buckeyes all the way at -34.5. (Game time: 3:30 pm)
Rutgers @ #4 Ohio State
Also going with the over on this one, which is at 60.0 (Game time: 3:30 pm)
Appalachian State @ Charlotte
The AS Mountaineers take control early versus the 49ers and cover the 14-point spread (Game time: 6:00 pm)
UAB @ Coastal Caroline
Take the UAB Blazers at -8.0 as they buck their trend of losing away openers. (Game time: 7:30 pm)
#17 USC @ #10 Stanford
The Stanford Cardinal come in at -4.5. Stanford has had trouble with USC, but we’re still going with them. Cardinal at -4.5. (Game time: 8:30 pm)
2018 Week Two College Football Picks- Pick Number 10
The last of our 2018 Week Two College Football Quick Picks is the Rice Owls at the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors. We do think that the home team will win, but they won’t cover. Take the Owls at +17.5. The game will start at midnight tonight, which means it will be played on September 9, 12:01 am ET.
