The Buffalo Bills (7-2, 3-1 away) are in Arizona to take on the Arizona Cardinals (5-3, 2-2 home) in Week 10 of National Football League play. This will be the first time the two teams have faced each other since they won at home, 33-18, back in 2016.
Kickoff is at 4:05 p.m. EST at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, AZ. The Cardinals are a 2.5-point favorite in the cross-conference showdown, according to oddsmakers.
What to Know – Buffalo Bills
Buffalo enters the weekend riding a three-game winning streak that includes a 10-point victory over the Seattle Seahawks last Sunday. The Bills sit at first place in the AFC East division with a one-game advantage over the Miami Dolphins.
Josh Allen performed admirably in last Sunday’s victory over the Seahawks. The third-year quarterback completed 31-of-38 passes for 415 yards and three touchdown passes while also adding a score rushing. Allen has thrown 19 touchdown passes to five interceptions this season.
Buffalo was unable to ever get the ground game going against Seattle, rushing for a mere 34 yards on 19 carries. Zack Moss tallied nine rushes for 18 yards and one score in a subpar performance. The Bills tallied 190 yards on the ground the previous week against the New England Patriots.
Stefon Diggs put together an excellent performance against Seattle, hauling in nine passes for 118 yards to lead all Buffalo receivers. Diggs has been a welcomed addition to Buffalo’s offense this season, with 813 yards receiving and three touchdowns.
What to Know – Arizona Cardinals
A last-second field goal by the Miami Dolphins last week ended the Cardinals bid for their fourth-consecutive victory. Even with the defeat, the Cardinals are still one game out of the top stop in the NFC West, trailing one game behind the Seahawks.
Like Allen, Kyler Murray has emerged as one of the best signal-callers in the game. Murray completed 21-of-26 passes for 283 yards and three touchdowns last week against the Dolphins. Expect Murray to utilize his legs again this weekend against a defense that has not had much success against the run this season.
Where Murray is most lethal is in the running game, where he ranks 8th in the NFL in rushing with 543 yards on the ground. Murray compiled 106 yards and a rushing score last Sunday as the Cardinals leading rusher.
Christian Kirk has become one of Murray’s favorite targets over the last month. Kirk has caught five touchdown passes over the last three games and a season-high 123 yards against the Dolphins.
The Pick is In
This should be one of the better games of the Sunday slate, pitting two teams with excellent offenses and young, up-and-coming quarterbacks. Buffalo has fared well on the road this season with already three wins away from Buffalo.
The Bills are 6-1 against the spread this season, so by the time this is released, the Bills might have moved to the favorites. This will be another shootout in Arizona so expect it to be close throughout.
The Pick: Buffalo +2.5
