Orange and Blue Upset?
Brett Bielema is no stranger to playing ranked teams in his days as the head coach. This is another test before they go through the gauntlet of the Big Ten. During the Week One win, quarterback Luke Altmyer tossed four touchdown passes. Two of them came to Pat Bryant.
On the ground, Kaden Feagin was strong. He got the ball 16 times for 108 yards and a score as well. Illinois finished with 242 via the passing attack and 244 on the ground. Illinois scoring 45 points was tied for 34th most in all of College Football.
Illinois will host Central Michigan next week, before they start Big Ten play. The Fighting Illini start their Big Ten slate with back to back road games. They are at Nebraska on September 20th and on the road at Penn State September 28th.
Rock Chalk on the Road
Kansas is going to go on the road and win this game. Illinois has a great crowd ready for the Jayhawks. In fact, the game is a sell out. The Orange and Blue will be ready for the Jayhawks.
