What to Know – Denver Nuggets
The top team in the Western Conference looked the part in the opener and will try to stay perfect at home during the playoffs in Game 2. Denver, who’s never won an NBA title, has a great opportunity to take a commanding 2-0 lead in the series.

The Pick is In
After an exhausting seven-game series with the Celtics, it was almost certain there would be some letdown in the series opener for the Heat. Denver was ready to play, and that showed early in the first half.
With some rest and three more days of body adjustments to the altitude, look for the Heat to keep Game 2 close behind their solid defensive play.
The Pick: Miami Heat +8.5
