That was against the Pirates though, and now the left-hander will try to repeat that against a much better offense and in a place that is the most hitter-friendly in the league. The NL West looks like it’s going to be another dog fight this season, with four teams already having 5+ wins on the year. Cron went deep twice on Saturday and once on Friday giving him a league leading five on the season.
Austin Gomber goes for the Rockies on Sunday giving up 3 ER over 4.2 IP last week in his season debut, giving him a 5.79 ERA on the season. The Cubs are 5-25 as a team vs. the left-hander.
