Chicago Bears at Houston Texans Pick – Week 2 in NFL
A pair of undefeated teams in the National Football League will get together in Week Two. The Chicago Bears are at the Houston Texans. This is the Sunday Night Football game of the week. The Chicago Bears are 1-0 after their home win over the Tennessee Titans. The Bears, Vikings and Lions all three won out of the NFC North in Week One.
For Houston, they are the favorites out of the AFC SOuth. Houston won their Week One affair over the Indianapolis Colts. The Texans were the lone team out of the division taht won their first game of the season.
The Houston Texans are -6.5 over the Chicago Bears in this game.
Big Road Test for Chicago
The Chicago Bears are the talk of the league with the top pick in the draft. Caleb Williams, out of USC is the signal caller. He was not great in his opener, but came away with the win. Williams completed just 14 out of 29 passes for 93 yards. He did not turn the ball over though.
Rome Odunze was also a first round pick. He is doubtful to play in this game, with an injury. The top receiver for the Bears was DJ Moore with 36 yards in the game. The run game as not super strong either, as D’Andre Swift anchored the attack with 10 carries, and 30 yards.
The Bears are on the road in Week Three as well. Chicago will play at the Indianapolis Colts. Weeks four and five are at home for the Bears. They will host hte Rams, and then the Carolina Panthers.
Houston Seeking 2-0 Start
CJ Stroud was terrific last season, as the top quarterback for Houston. The former Ohio State signal caller had a solid start to this season as well. He tossed for 234 yards and two touchdowns in the win. His top target was Nico Collins, with 117 yards.
The big story was the running game for Houston. In his first game with the team, he rushned the ball 30 times for 159 yards and a touchdown. Dameon Piece is the backup, but was able to run the football just three times in the game.
Houston will face their first road test of the season in Week Three. The Texans will head out on the road at to the Minnesota Vikings. In Weeks Four and Five, the Texans are back home and will take on the Jaguars and Bills.
Texans Top Bears
Houston is going to win this game. If they cover the spread or not is the biggest question. But, when we go to make a bet on this game, we are going to take Houston to win by a touchdown. The Bears struggle against really good quarterbacks, and that is what Stroud is. Take the Houston Texans -6.5 over the Chicago Bears in the National Football League on Sunday.
