Their offense have also picked up averaging 3 goals per game over these last 6 games which is obviously a huge improvement but they still have by far the worst offense in the league.

John Taveres missed a few of those games so that could be used as an excuse but since he’s been back they have still lost 4 of 5 and are having some problems putting pucks in the net right now.

Conclusion
I like the New York Islanders over the Ducks in this one. I think the Islanders are by far the best dog on the board tonight and I just don’t like the Ducks in general. I thought they were more lucky then good last season and it looks like the hockey gods have finally caught up with them and are making up for last season.
