Saturday June 27th NASCAR Pocono Organics 325 Betting Preview

Cup Series Heads to Pennsylvania for Doubleheader

It’s a full weekend of racing heading into Pocono Organics 325 betting on Saturday followed by the 350 on Sunday. NASCAR is coming of a thrilling .007 second win by Ryan Blaney in the rain-delayed Geico 500 on Monday.

Standings leader Kevin Harvick is the +450 co-favorite to take the checkered flag on Saturday while 2019 winner Kyle Busch is also listed at +450. Let’s take at some other great picks from Pennsylvania.

Ryan Blaney +1100

Not bad value on Ryan Blaney for Pocono Organics 325 betting considering how well his car looked on Monday. Blaney led 63 laps en route to the win at Talladega and sits in 3rd in the standings having posted seven top 5 finishes on the season. Blaney scored his first career win at Pocono in 2017 so obviously knows how to navigate the Tricky Triangle.
Pick: Blaney top 5 finish +150

Denny Hamlin +625

Speaking of knowing how to get around at Pocono, Denny Hamlin has the most career wins among active drivers at this race track with 5 including last July. Hamlin came in 4th on Monday in Talladega and won the Dixie Vodka 400 the race prior in Homestead. This weekend will be Hamlin’s 29th and 30th start at the 2.5 mile track giving him great value in Sunday’s race as well.
Pick: Hamlin top 3 finish +170

Martin Truex, Jr. +725

Oddsmakers have made Martin Truex, Jr. the 5th highest favorite to win in Pocono Organics 325 betting but he’s a good driver to bet against on Saturday. Truex, Jr. Despite being one of the favorites Monday in Talladega, the #19 car crossed the line way back in 23rd. That’s following a 12th place finish the weekend before in Homestead. Truex has dropped from 4th to 7th in the Cup standings as a result. He did finish 3rd at Pocono in July of 2019 but that’s following up a 35th place finish in the June race.
Pick: Driver head to head Hamlin -120 over Truex, Jr.
Pick: Driver head to head Kyle Busch -145 over Truex, Jr.

Pocono Organics 325 betting
Truex has seen some success at Pocono but is a fade on Saturday after his recent struggles.

Erik Jones +120

Erik Jones is starting in 17th on Saturday but he has great value as surprisingly the second best driver at Pocono in the field (103.6). Jones has finished in the top 5 in three straight races at Long Pond and has finished in the top 10 in 5 of his 6 career starts at the track. The #20 Toyota has only started outside the top 15 in one of those six starts, but Jones obviously clicks with this layout.
Pick: Jones top 5 +165

Aric Almirola +4400

Aric Almirola is in a good spot on the pole for Saturday’s race as 19% of the winners in the 84 starts at Pocono have come from #1. Almirola finished 3rd on Monday in ‘Dega and was 5th at the Dixie Vodka 400 the race prior so his car is running well right now. Those were Almirola’s only top 5 finishes of the year so it looks like he’s coming out of his rut. Almirola struggled mightily early in his career at Pocono (18th or worse finish in 10 of first 11) but has finished in the top 12 in 3 of the last 4.
Pick: Driver head to head Almirola -120 over Clint Bowyer
