Wednesday Night MAC Free Betting Pick
A MAC Championship Game preview as Toledo Visits Ohio
We’ve got a good one in store for the 11/8 free college football pick as 8-1 Toledo Rockets visit the 7-2 Ohio Bobcats. Toledo sits atop the MAC West at 5-0 and has already beat 4-1 second place Northern Illinois. Ohio is up top of the Mac East at 4-1 and has already toppled 4-2 Akron who trails them. Basically, both teams control their own destiny and can afford a loss tonight – but would prefer a win to make their path easier.
Oddsmakers have actually made Toledo -3 favorites on the road as their only loss of the season came at undefeated Miami, a 30-52 defeat in week four. Ohio suffered a defeat at Purdue earlier in the season, but was also toppled at home by Central Michigan 23-26 as -10.5 favorites.
Line Dropping For Toledo
Bettors are going fishing in the 11/8 free college football pick as the line is dropping. The game opened with Toledo as -6.5 road favorites but the line has dropped to -3.5, despite the fact that over 65% of the public are backing the Rockets. Toledo isn’t a bad bet, after all they’ve won five straight three of which were by 20 or more points.
Toledo has one of the best 1-2 offensive combos in the country in QB Logan Woodside and RB Terry Swanson. Woodside has thrown for 2656 yards with 19TD against just 2 INTs. Swanson has ran for 100+ yards in five of the last six games including a 3TD performance last week against a stout NIU defense. Ohio has a solid D against the rush giving up only 123.1 YPG (21st in the nation) but are 94th versus the pass giving up over 250 per game.

Ohio Needs Their Offense To Fire In a Potential Shootout
The Ohio offense isn’t worried about what their counterparts on the other sideline are doing as the Bobcats have scored 45+ points in four of the last five games. Sure they’ve been beating up on the bottom feeders of the MAC (Kent State, Bowling Green, Miami-Ohio) but that’s some impressive numbers nonetheless.
It’s mostly the running game behind A.J Ouellette (832 yards)that is powering the surge. QB Nathan Rourke is a dual-threat signal caller however and has ran for 548 yards and 16 TD this season. Rourke has also thrown 5TD against 0 INT the last two games. The Toledo defense is middle of the pack in just about every major category so there may be opportunities there.

11/8 Free College Football Pick – Betting
There’s some reverse line movement that bettors should be aware of despite the explosiveness of the Toledo offense. Ohio is not only at home, but has over a week of rest after playing last Tuesday compared to Toledo only having five days to prepare for this game – and after a clash with NIU last Thursday. Oddsmakers are expecting a shootout setting the total at 63, but it will be Toledo doing the chasing.
Pick: Ohio Bobcats +3.5
