Week Two Prop Bets – Late Afternoon Games
Winning Props for Week 2 Late Games
We’ve got two prop bets worth considering for the afternoon games in Week Two. These three props offer good value. Please be sure to check back for our Sunday Night Football pick. Plus, we’ll also offer props specifically on that game.
Also coming up will be out pick for the Monday Night Football game between the Seattle Seahawks and Chicago Bears. Once again, we expect to provide you with some prop bets for that contest.
Jared Cook (Oakland) at Broncos – O/U Four Receptions
On Monday night, Derek Carr focused on Cook, tossing him a career-high 12 passes. The tight end brought nine of them in. He had 180 yards. Denver has had issues in attempting to stop big tight ends. They may very well target Cook. That could certainly diminish his chances of grabbing five passes. Still, we think that Oakland will include Cook in their scheme. We like the over at four.
Our Pick: Cook over four catches
Rob Gronkowski (New England) at Jacksonville – O/U 5.5 Catches
Gronkowski is a go-to guy for Brady and that may be the case especially in this game where shorter passes may become Brady’s bread and butter. In the first week, Brady threw eight times to the big tight end and he had seven catches. Last time Jacksonville and New England met was in the playoffs this past year. Gronkowski left that game with a concussion. Maybe he’ll have some extra juice in his tank for this one.
Our Pick: Gronkowski over 5.5 receptions
Final Word- Week Two NFL Prop Bets
That’s it for our second offering of props bets for today. We find the Jared Cook wager to offer some decent value. Along with these Week Two NFL prop bets, remember that we will be offering props on the Sunday Night Football game tonight featuring the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys.
