Yes, just like last bowl season, we are picking every 2017-18 college football bowl game. From the first half-dozen that kick off the season on Dec 16, 2017 to the championship game on Jan 8, 2018. That includes every bowl in between. We’ll start posting our picks soon. There are 15 bowl games prior to Christmas and then after Dec 25, there are 26 more games, including the three games that comprise the championship series. Here’s a quick list of each game and the teams that will be playing. We will link from this post to each of the picks that we post. Look for the first pick to be posted Dec 8.
The First Six
Often with these early bowls you’ll tend to see a lot of points put on the scoreboard. Although these are not top-tiered games, they often offer a lot of exciting action. You can spend all day watching the action from noon until about 11 p.m.
There’s a nine-game push from Dec 19 to Dec 24 with three games being played on the 23rd and one on Christmas Eve. That one is the Hawaii Bowl. You won’t find a 2017-18 college football bowl game played on Christmas Day. But there is NFL action as the Steelers play the Texans and the Raiders play the Eagles.
With two weeks to go to the College Football Playoff (CFP) championship games, there is still plenty of action to go. Before you get to a CFP contest, there will be 23 other games played from Dec 26 to Jan 1. New Year’s Day is also when the two semi-final CFP games are played with the final contest being held a week later. Here are the 23 other games that are not part of the CFP series.
Here you go. These are the games that everyone is waiting for and on which every sports bettor will wager. After Jan 8, there won’t be another 2017-18 college football bowl game left to play.
