The Bears went 4-0 in the pre-season, including the Hall of Fame game to start the season. A season ago, the Bears tied with the Vikings for third in the NFC North. Chicago went 7-10 on the season.
The Chicago Bears are favorites in this game. The Bears come into the game at -4. The total for this affair is listed at 45.5.
New Look Titans Offense
Gone is Derrick Henry from the Titans offense. Instead, the Titans will turn to Tajae Spears as the lead running back. Spears was second last season with 100 carries, and 453 yards, with two touchdowns on the ground. It will be tough to replace Henry’s 1,167 yards on the ground.
Will Levis is in as the starting quarterback. He will be in front of veteran Mason Rudolph under center. Receivers Calvin Ridley, DeAndre Hopkins and Tyler Boyd are going to be the three receivers getting the football early and often from the former Kentucky quarterback.
The Titans will host the Jets in Week Two and then the Packers in Week three. Tennessee goes to Miami to end the month, and then goes on their bye early.
New Quarterback in Chicago
Justin Fields is gone from Chicago, and the offense has been handed to first pick Caleb Williams. Along with Williams, Rome Odunze was drafted as a receiving option. Keenan Allen was brought over from the Chargers to go alongside DJ Moore as a receiving trio. Moore led the team a season ago with 1,364 yards receiving. He also caught 8 touchdown passes from Fields and the Bears offense.
The depth chart starts at running back with D’Andre Swift. He came over from the Eagles. Khalil Herbert and Roschon Johbson are next in line. Cole Kmet will serve as the top tight end, but veteran Gerald Everett is now with the squad.
The Bears are going to play back to back road games following this game. Chicago will head to Houston next for Sunday Night Football. Then, in Week 3, the Bears are on the road at the Indianapolis Colts. At the end of September, the Bears are going to host the Los Angeles Rams, before a home game against the Carolina Panthers.
Bears Win at Home
We will buy into the hype. The Bears offense looks much better on paper, and the defense has been getting the job done the last couple seasons, for the most part. We will take the Chicago Bears to win this game at home over the Tennessee Titans. We will take the Bears 28-17 over the Titans, as Caleb Williams gets his first win in the league. Enjoy the game and take the Bears -4!
